BLACK IN FASHION is a conference centered on creating a space for black designers to explore the ties between their culture and fashion, and provide resources for young black designers to start their careers. Collage was chosen as the visual style, because it is similar to both fashion culture: separate pieces coming together to create a whole unit. The images were cut out from magazines, and scanned; this became the foundation for my choice in fonts and arrangement of type.
